Overview

Manifest in Phoenix is looking to hire an Accountant. This opportunity will offer a unique experience working with a close-knit team, in an environment where you actually want to come to work every day. There will also be direct interaction with the Director of Finance, whose primary focus is to train, mentor, and grow each and every member of the Finance team.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the financial accuracy of the general ledger
  • Assist with ensuring the fair presentation of financial statements
  • Reconcile balance sheet and bank accounts
  • Create revenue recognition entries for print clients
  • Prepare and maintain revenue recognition forecasts for print clients
  • Prepare, analyze, and post entries to various Income Statement Accounts to ensure accuracy of the Income Statement, including but not limited to revenue and expense reclasses, open purchase order accrual, amortization entries, and accrual entries
  • Provide accurate reporting and support to Client Finance Team including Work in Process Reports collaborating on revenue forecast for print clients, and answering any questions regarding revenue recognition, account coding, or expense recognition
  • Prepare and maintain agency expense budget tracker reporting, to be distributed to leadership teams

Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of Excel, including professional experience working extensively with formulas, formatting, pivot tables, and simple VBA code
  • 2+ years of general ledger accounting experience
  • Genuine enthusiasm for learning and collaborating with the team as needed
  • Marketing agency experience preferred but not required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
